These conveyor belts are being used mainly to transport materials in long axle distances in difficult working conditions. This is possible because of their small elongation while loading and great ability to adjust to a conveyer’s trough thanks to its low cross strength. The carcass of the belt consists of extremely strong steel cords stored in one level, covered with adhesive

rubber to perfectly connect top and bottom cover layer. A strong connection between layers ensures optimal functionality and high resistance. Cord pitch and strength of cords are used to specify strength series. The belts are made with protected rubber edge, with
a strength range between 1 000 – 5 000 N/mm and a width of 750 – 2 400 mm.

Categories of cover layers according to nature of transported material (norm DIN 22 131):
X – abrasive and sharp angular and great lump - sized
Y – slightly abrasive, sharp angular and loose
W – very abrasive and granular material of smaller lumpiness
